Alive and...

Thank you all so much for your prayers and concern! I am sorry I have not been on here until now to update. My mom came yesterday morning to help me and then Jon's mom came around lunchtime and is staying as long as I need her. What a help!!!!

The news is good, but not as good as hoped for. I am definitely feeling better. My nose does not feel like someone is torching it, but it is still a tad swollen and quite red. The doctor said today that it has improved...but not as much as he would have liked to see. So...another round of the high dose antibiotics which means no nursing for another 36 hours. Noah has done AMAZING on formula. I just love that kid. It has not phased him a bit other than allowing him to go almost nine hours last night between feedings. The kid is so resilient and flexible and just plain pleasant. He has been cooing and smiling and warming my heart in a million and one ways.

So...that is it. I am off to take a nap after somewhat of a crazy day. Hopefully my nose will be totally down and not red by tomorrow...that is the goal. Still on the look out for signs of meningitis or a brain absess..haha. I think I will avoid those things but those were the big concern. I am thinking that one more day of the high dose stuff is way better than a hospital stay and meningitis...and certianly better than a brain absess. I will be on the other two antibiotics for ten days but Noah can have those...it is just this high dose one that has to be out of my system.

Thanks again friends for your prayers and concern. I am going to be just fine...maybe with a slightly deformed nose  Oh welll...my boys still love me.
