Three School...Again

IMG_2666Doesn't it seem like just yesterday that I was blogging about whether or not to put Landon into three school, and whether or not it should be Christian or public? I remember laboring over that decision so hard, feeling like the two hours a week would be good socialization for him, but not wanting to send my child to school when he was 3, almost 4. I remember feeling relieved when I finally did register him at the Christian school. I can still remember getting in the car and driving home, little Landon in the back singing softly to himself about the birds (it was spring time), and baby Noah tucked snugly in my belly. It seems like yesterday.
Well, today I went back to that same school and registered my second baby for three school. Now, really...it is once a week for two hours a day, so no big deal. I feel it is a good socialization experience for my kids, which is why I am choosing to do it. But really...can it possibly be time to register my BABY for school. I just did this for Landon, and Noah was just in my belly...oh wait, that was three years ago! It just doesn't seem possible.
After registering for school, Noah and I went to our usual Friday morning date spot...the local bagel shop. We go nearly every Friday after we drop Landon off at school. This week our neighbor and her kids came with us. Her son, Aiden, is Noah's BFF, and they are nearly the same age, so they will actually be going to school together. We took them around the school, showed them the gym, the park (the big attraction) and their future classroom. Noah won't stop talking about school now...he has wanted to go for awhile since his big brother gets to go so much. But I know that when it comes down to leaving him, at least at this point, he would cry uncontrollably, which is why I feel it is so important for him to go in the first place . ANYWAY...we all had bagels together and it was wonderful. We are so blessed. Landon goes to school with his BFF and now Noah will too. Makes me feel all warm and toasty inside
But I still felt in disbelief when I wrote NOAH HUNSBERGER on that registration form today.
