Amazing Talent 4-24-07

My Sister-In-Law's Amazing Talent

beachbellyHere is one of the pregnancy pictures from last week. It is the only one I have seen...I can't wait to get my proofs!!!!\Seriously...she is just amazing. I can't believe that she can make me and the environment look like it belongs in a magazine.
This photo shoot, aside from the freezing cold, was SO much fun! We pieced together outfits...this one was a pre-pregnancy shirt of mine, pants that barely fit anymore, Amy's coat that she happened to be wearing that day, and a necklace that she bought for her friend for Christmas but forgot to give to her . She straightened my hair for me (she is obviously multi-talented) and the wind did the rest  I would love to make women feel beautiful like she does. I guess that is part of the reason I am so into counseling. I have no real talent with doing hair or accessorizing (I can't even spell it), but I long to help women unearth the beauty that the Lord has given them from within...the kind that shines from their eyes and exudes from their hearts. Sometimes we all need some of the slime of life pushed away to help reveal what the Lord has done in our lives and how He desires us to shine the beauty He has given us outward.
Her talent truly is incredible. While I am raving about her, I would like to invite you all to her blog to view her latest project. She recreated the famous Audry Hepburn photo with a beautiful little girl and videod the process. You can watch it here: http://amywenzel.typepad.com/amy_wenzel_photography/ . The gifts that she gives parents of their children and the moments in time that she has frozen for us are so priceless. I am so thankful for her!
I have a doctor appointment at 11.  I will update later, although, for whatever reason I am not feeling hopeful today. In fact, I am feeling like I will most likely be pregnant for another month or two...or three  Here is to hoping for something!!!!
EDIT: Well, despite my "not feeling it" whatever that means, I have made some serious progress!! I wasn't going to post stats, but most of you are mom savvy...so I am a good 2-3 and he is at a -1 station. She says ANYTIME!!! I am still measuring a bit small, so if I do make it to next week they will probably do an ultrasound just to be sure all is fine...but she is guessing he is just a smaller baby than Landon...she guessed around 6-6.5 pounds which would be AWESOME with me. Landon was 7 pounds 8 ounces at 38 weeks and I had about the hardest time I could have had getting him out, so having a smaller baby sounds like music to my ears. So if you would, please pray for this week, and most importantly, please pray for the health and safety of my baby...whom I hope to meet VERY soon!!!!!!!!
