Thank you Friends

I only have a moment as I am extremely anxious to get on the road and start my trip home. For those of you who have not read Marla's blog, I was in the hospital yesterday from about 12:30 until 7pm. I was sitting in class at 9:30 am and started getting contractions about every 2 to 3 minutes. I figured they were braxton hicks, but as the hours ticked by and they continued coming...it became apparent that something was going on that was beyond my control. I will save you the drama, but suffice to say that they gave me a shot to stop the contractions around 4pm and for the most part, it worked. I am still feeling them a times, but not regularly and they are much weaker than yesterday. The ONLY thing on my mind right now is getting home. A thirteen hour car ride feels like I am a country away from my husband and home and doctor. I have NEVER wanted to be home more than I do right now.

So, please pray for me! For now, my main requests are that the contractions will not come back (preferably until at least 37 weeks!). I have no idea why they came in the first place and no idea if they will return, or when. Also, I am driving at least 8 hours today. Three of those hours, I will be in the mountains with no cell phone service...that is my biggest concern right now bc I don't want to be stranded, having contractions, and no one to call and limited options.

I read Marla's blog, and I just have to say that you all jumping into prayer for me...it touched me to tears. Most of you, I have never met...but the fact that we are sisters in Christ and that you so willingly brought me before the throne of grace...makes me feel some sort of connection with each of you! Thank you!;
