Her is So Pretty

Her is So Pretty

IMG_7180As the week has progressed more and more stories have come out from both Jonathan and Landon about how last week went. My favorite (actually, the one that causes me to well up with love and pride for my little boy) happened last Tuesday evening. I had just finished talking to Landon on the phone and I guess when I hung up Landon just could not stop talking about me for like an hour. At one point, he randomly said, "Daddy, her is so pretty!" Isn't that just so precious. It brought tears to my eyes that my little boy was missing me so much that he was thinking about me and just had to tell his daddy that I was pretty. I do not necessarily thing any boy on the street would ever say this about me, but coming from my son...be still my heart! Ok, enough bragging.
The pictures I am enclosing in this post are from Christmas. The first was Landon decorating cookies with Grandma and Aunt Brenn. Clearly he loved it...and his face shows that these are two of his very favorite people on this earth. Their relationships are so priceless! IMG_7195The second picture is Landon vacumming my mom's floor Christmas morning before everyone got there. Nevermind his hind end sticking out (he is a skinny kid and we have great issues with keeping his pants up). So I just wanted to prove that I don't make this stuff up...he honestly is obsessed with doing laundry (to the point of annoyance), vacumming (this has been an obsession for years), windexing, and polishing, oh yes, and thanks to my mother I find him randomly coming out of the bathroom with the toilet brush bc he decided that the potty just had to be cleaned. He is my little helper...that is for sure.
I heard about this free play group put on by the public school system around here. So I got up early this morning and PUSHED us out the door. We made it only five minutes late  Landon was not sure at first, but once he was convinced I was staying with him he was so excited. They had about 10 different stations set up and he got a free book, was able to make a snow man out of puffy paint, a bird feeder out of peanut butter and bird seed, got to climb through tunnels, play play-do, do really cool puzzles, play in a tub of snow, match mittens, and have a snack. He had the absolute time of his life. They hold this thing once a month and we will definitely be regular attenders from now on. It was awesome! I can't believe something as cool as this was can be free! I am sure our taxes pay for it...but still, it was so wonderful to go do something so fun for no money!
So, becuase I got up early I am really tired and my nice warm bed is calling. I am off to join my wee one in dream land for a little while. Have a most wonderful Wednesday...
