Crazy Kids 1-11-08

Crazy Kids

Just got back from Old Navy...thinking it was a 50% sale and finding, to my great happiness, a 75% off sale! It was packed, but I got each boy about 5 new shirts and Noah a few pairs of pants and pj's...for about $1.99 a piece. I am on top of the world! Although, when we got to the line we had to wait a good 40 minutes...and it was after 1...and I had yet to feed both boys. Despite being starved, they did SO well...Landon was such a helper with Noah and such a good boy...he is so different than he was a year ago. A year ago...today would have never happened. I treated him to Panera after the ordeal...and let him get a pair of alligator slippers for $3.

During my break from grad school I wanted to catch up on my Parents magazines. I had five that I had not been able to read since I started grad school in August...I have 4 down and 1 to go. The funny thing is that every one of them is now coverless. Noah LOVES paper...he has a fetish with eating it. As a result, if I leave my magazine anywhere within his reach, he finds it, rips the cover off and eats it (or I try to get it away from him so that he won't eat it). Nonetheless, he has succeeded in ripping every one of the covers off

Everynight Landon prays for good dreams. He has vivid dreams (gets that from his dad) so we just ask Jesus for good dreams. This morning he reported to me that he dreamed that he was on Barney last night and got to help decorate a train. He declared it a very good dream. He is so funny!

Landon has been playing with Noah lately. Yesterday, I was able to clean both bathrooms while the boys "played" baby. I have to say that i am just loving this sibling thing. They are such good friends...I just pray it always stays this way! First thing in the morning Landon BEGS to go wake up Noah and when Noah does wake up Landon runs in there and they laugh at eachother for a few minutes before I go in there. And I can't tell you how many times I have depended on Landon to help me entertain Noah...Noah's face just lights up when he is with Landon. These boys need eachother...it is unbelievable to me that 8 short months ago Landon didn't even know Noah. Now if I took either of them away from eachother...they would be lost. It is beautiful really.

Ok...lots to do and not much time. Thank you so so so so much for your advice on school. I called the school principal/counselor today and left a message in the hopes that she can help us make this decision. And thanks for your help with the Lite Brite thing too. You guys are wonderful Truly! Toodles!
