Landon woke me up this morning exclaiming, "Mom, Mom!!!! Come quick...there are penguins in our backyard. I rolled over and told him they were probably wild turkeys...not penguins. He insisted they were penguins. I got out of bed to go look and when I got to the window he said, "Aww, Mom, you were too slow...you missed them." I am quite sure whatever he saw...he really thought they were penguins 
Noah is crawling...everywhere. He has also learned to sit up in his bed...which is ushering in some sleeping problems. Right now he should be sound asleep...instead he is sitting up staring at the animals on top of his wall smiling at them with a smug little smile. At least he is into the details. This weekend...the crib will be lowered so he does not fall out. I cannot believe it is already time for this. My heart is a tad bit sad.
And now he is crying...instead of sleeping. I have a paper to write. See, I told you...short and sweet
