EDIT:
THANK YOU all for your encouragement regarding my last post.
Lets see...Jonathan was such a gem on Saturday and took the kids for the entire day to a family open house so that I could work on my paper. I was so sad to miss seeing everyone, but I got so much done on my paper. I was amazed at his willingness to do this, but even more by his confidence in packing, caring for and travelling two hours with the kids...by himself. Awesome. Then that evening we had a beautiful trip to the beach with Jon's sister, Amy. Then she came over for fun drinks and conversation under our patio set. Fun times. I attached a few pictures from our evening at the beach. I love the one that has all 4 of us...we are all busy working away on our own projects, but it is a cool family picture.
Interesting things I saw at the library last week: An 80 year old man reading a Men's Health magazine....avidly. As though the provacative images of women and serious manly workouts would do something for him. And....a clearly amish couple searching through the New Release Dvd's. The against-stereoptype made me chuckle.
Landon has become a
swordsman. These swords are never out of arms reach of the kid. Best dollar purchase, ever. Even Noah snatches one up whenever he can. And...Landon went tubing for the first time on Sunday...all by himself. He LOVED it.
Off to the farmers market today. Nothing beats MI strawberries...sersiously.
And finally, I will close. Rumor has it that my blogs are too long, so how was this for short and sweet
