The past few weeks have been intermittently filled with Summer Fun. By that I mean strawberry shortcake on an almost nightly basis (hey, the season only lasts about 2.5 weeks so I have to get my fill), openhouses, boat rides, beach trips, and lots and lots of playing outside. Last Friday every kid in the neighborhood was in my front yard playing in our 2 ft blow up kiddy pool. It was awesome. Four of us moms just sat and talked while our kids played literally for hours. I loved it. Summer at its finest.
Amongst the fun has been some work. My 20 page paper that was due last Wednesday was extended until last night. That never happens. But I am thankful that it did, because I turned it in at 11:49pm last night...and it was due at 11:59. If you know me at all...you know that is cutting it way too close for my liking. Oh well...I got some fun in and the paper is turned in. Today starts my two weeks of double classes. I am in my final two weeks of my super difficult class and my marriage and family class (pretty easy) starts today and lasts until August 15. After that...I will have my week long intensive at Liberty in September and my internship and then I will be D-O-N-E. Wow. I am gonna make it...
In other news, Noah is making big changes. He has been walking around all weekend saying, "Uh-Oh" and chasing after balls that Landon throws. While chasing the balls, he is yelling..."Ball". And of course, the usual..."Brother" and "Landon". I love his sweet little voice. Brother and Landon are pretty difficult to understand for the casual observer...but it is clear that is what he is saying. He is understanding more and just really starting to strike us as a boy rather than a baby
. They grow so fast...
Well, I need to get some reading done and well...the strawberry shortcake is starting to catch up with me, so I may go hop on the treadmill I attached a few pictures of our summer fun...and our fun patio set up. Love it!!!
